Product Strategy & Business Development

  • We provide value-add local/regional presence to emerging Open Source, SaaS, and Independent Software Solution providers to help increase their global product and services revenues.

  • Work with the Provider"s Partner/Alliances/Business Development function to perform high-level feasibility assessments
  • Co-manage the Product Marketing function by creating Market campaigns and providing Research data
  • Co-manage the Product Management function to:
    • Analyze fit/gap and distil market data into product enhancements
    • Recommend Product Engineering strategy (e.g. Inhouse or Outsourced, Right Shore, Right Vendor, etc.). Strategies could vary depending on the features (e.g. application integrations, language localizations, core versus extension development)
    • Recommend Product Training strategy to develop & deploy localization training programs, train-the-trainer model, and other KT requirements
    • Recommend Product Support function to provide post-implementation support
      • Focus on Value-added Reselling in the target country
      • Recommend Professional Services strategy for Implementation and Production Support
      • Work with Partner/Alliances/Business Development function to create a Transition/Exit strategy triggered when provider reaches previously agreed upon “regional/local presence level” (e.g. revenue milestone, market acceptance, in-house presence, etc.)
